London Bridge to Kings Cross

The Thames
To start get off of tube at London Bridge and fight through tourist trap central to Bankside to miss the Twelfth Night plays. Proceed across wobbly bridge...

St Pauls and surround

.. to St Pauls which at the moment is exposed on its east side due to the demolition of the old Allen & Overy building. One New Change - is doing just that - changing.. where once stood a large red brick buiiding - now there is a large hole. But it does mean that St Paul's can be seen in all its glory for a short while until the view is once more blocked.

But for now I was far more taken by the leaves on one particular tree. This photo was taken whilst skateboards were filming themselves behind me round the square pond and fountain.

The Three Sisters?

That Tree!

That hole!

The Two Ronnies?

The Stock Exchange complete with new sun dial clock!

Gotham City?

Smithfield Market and surround

Farringdon Road northwards to ...

Kings Cross Road and the Stations...

The international terminal - St Pancras - it was never like this when I got the Midland Mainline to Leicester each new term!

In awe of the new terminal I took a moment to contemplate. Then I headed for the underground - which was far less spacious and nowhere near as plush..
